Hyrox Berlin 2027: What the Calendar Actually Says About the Date
Is there a Hyrox Berlin 2027 date? Not yet — Berlin is absent from the whole published 2026/27 calendar. The evidence, the Tempelhof pattern, ticket lead times, and when a block has to start anyway.

Berlin is the biggest Hyrox race in the world. For 2027, it does not yet exist on paper.
If you are looking for the date of Hyrox Berlin 2027, here is the honest answer up front: there is none. Hyrox has not announced a 2027 Berlin race, there is no event page, no ticket sale, and Berlin does not appear anywhere in the published 2026/27 season calendar. Everything below is what the calendar, the venue and four previous Berlin editions actually let you plan around — and nothing that we made up to fill the gap.
In short: No date, no venue confirmation and no tickets for Hyrox Berlin 2027 as of this review. Berlin is absent from the entire published 2026/27 calendar, which runs to the World Championships in Hong Kong on 10–13 June 2027, and
hyrox.com/event/hyrox-berlin/returns "page not found". Every Berlin edition so far has landed in April or May, at Flughafen Tempelhof since 2024. The last one drew close to 30,000 athletes over ten days. If Berlin returns in spring 2027, an announcement would realistically come months before it — and a 12-week block still needs about three months, so the training decision arrives before the ticket does.
Status: 3 September 2026. Calendar checked against the official Hyrox race finder; event-page status checked directly; participation figures from the public results database; venue access from Flughafen Tempelhof. This page is updated when Hyrox publishes a date, a venue or a ticket sale, and the status line changes with it.

The 2027 date: what the calendar says
Two checks, both of which you can repeat in a minute:
Berlin is not in the season calendar. The official race finder lists the complete 2026/27 season, from early September 2026 through to the World Championships in Hong Kong on 10–13 June 2027. It contains five German races — Karlsruhe (1–4 October 2026), Hamburg (28 October–1 November 2026), Düsseldorf (11–15 November 2026), Frankfurt (10–13 December 2026) and Cologne (8–11 April 2027). Berlin is not among them.
The event page is gone. hyrox.com/event/hyrox-berlin/ and the German equivalent both return a not-found page. That is the normal state after a race has run and before the next one is created — Basel, whose 2027 race is confirmed, has a live page at the same URL pattern.
So what does that mean? Not "Berlin is cancelled", and not "Berlin 2027 is happening in May". Two readings are open, and the honest thing is to name both:
- A late addition to this season. Hyrox does add races after the calendar is published, and the calendar already carries one placeholder — Hyrox New York, listed with "date coming soon". Berlin does not even have that placeholder. Every previous Berlin ran in April or May, which is exactly the window the current German list stops short of after Cologne.
- A move to the 2027/28 season. Season calendars for the following year are not published this far out, so a Berlin race in autumn 2027 or later would simply not be visible yet.
Four editions, for the pattern rather than for a prediction: November 2022, 20 April 2024, 16–18 May 2025, and 22–31 May 2026. The last three were all at Tempelhof, and the trend is one of scale rather than of a fixed weekend — one race day, then three, then ten.
There is a version of this page on other sites with a confident 2027 date on it. Treat that as invention until it appears on the official race finder.
When would tickets go on sale?
Nothing can go on sale before the race exists on the calendar, so there is no Berlin ticket link to give you. What the current season does show is the lead time.
Tickets for Hyrox Düsseldorf, racing 11–15 November 2026, went on sale on 15 July 2026 — roughly four months out. Basel races 12–14 February 2027 and its tickets are already available. Vienna and Cologne, both confirmed for February and April 2027, still show "ticket sales start soon" on their event pages: the date is fixed, the sale is not.
As a planning assumption rather than a rule, a Hyrox DACH race tends to open ticket sales somewhere in the region of four to six months before race weekend, and popular divisions sell out well before race week. The practical consequence for Berlin is worth stating plainly: if a spring 2027 Berlin were announced, the on-sale would likely land inside the window in which you would already want to be training.
The one thing you can do now is get the announcement early. Hyrox pushes new races through its own newsletter and the race finder before anyone else picks them up, and both are free.
The venue: Tempelhof again?
Unconfirmed, but it is the obvious assumption. Berlin has raced at Flughafen Tempelhof since 2024, and the airport's own event listing for 2026 names the Haupthalle at Platz der Luftbrücke 5 as the venue.
Tempelhof is not a normal Hyrox hall, and that changes the race:
- Part of it is outdoors. In 2024 the running was largely on the old apron and runway, with a single long lap per kilometre — rare in Hyrox, where the run is usually a tight indoor loop with a lot of cornering. Fewer turns and a wide lane tend to produce faster run splits than a cramped exhibition-hall loop.
- The hall is enormous and cold. It is a 1930s terminal building, not a heated arena. A May morning in an unheated concrete hall is a real warm-up problem.
- The scale is unlike anywhere else. In 2026 the event ran across ten days with start waves from 08:00 to 20:00 on most days. That is a logistics operation more than a race day, and it is why your individual start time matters more here than at a three-day race.
One rule already applies whenever Berlin returns: Hyrox links your individual start time about three days before the event, and it cannot be changed afterwards. At a ten-day race, "the weekend of" is not a travel plan.
Open, Pro, Doubles or Relay
Berlin's entry data is the most useful thing published about it, because it shows what people actually enter rather than what the categories suggest. From the public results database for the 2026 race — where singles are individual entries, doubles are teams of two and relay teams of four, which is how they reconcile to the site's total of 29,684 athletes:
- RelayRelay (4 athletes)2 stations + 2 km each
A team race with a party atmosphere. · A first taste of the format with no endurance prerequisite.
- DoublesDoubles (2 athletes)Every run together, stations shared
Hard, but you get micro-rests. · The sensible first race for most people.
- OpenOpen (single)8 km + all 8 stations, standard weights
The full race, at weights most trained adults can move. · The default first solo race.
- ProPro (single)Same course, markedly heavier sleds, carry, sandbag and wall ball
The sleds and 100 wall balls at 9 kg change the race, not just the numbers. · For athletes with a competitive Open time behind them.
| Category | 2026 entries | Athletes |
|---|---|---|
| Singles, Open (men + women) | 6,812 | 6,812 |
| Singles, Pro (men + women) | 1,277 | 1,277 |
| Doubles, all categories | 10,276 teams | ≈ 20,600 |
| Relay | 256 teams | ≈ 1,000 |
| Adaptive | 19 | 19 |
Two things fall out of that.
Doubles is the main entry route, not the side door. Roughly seven in ten athletes at Berlin 2026 raced in a pair, and Mixed Doubles alone — 3,651 teams, about 7,300 people — was a bigger field than Open singles. If you have been treating Doubles as the easier option to admit to, the field disagrees.
Pro is a small, self-selected group. 945 men and 332 women entered Pro singles out of nearly 30,000 athletes. Pro is the same race with heavier sled, sandbag, farmer's carry and wall-ball loads; if you are weighing it up, the Pro division benchmarks show what those weights cost in finish time before you commit to the category.
For a first race, Open singles or Doubles are both sensible. The format is identical worldwide, so your time stays comparable to every other Hyrox race regardless of which city you eventually run.
Prices and the extras that add up
No Berlin 2027 price exists. What follows is the current shape of Hyrox pricing in Germany, so you can budget an order of magnitude rather than be surprised.
The ticket. Entries are sold per category: singles (Hyrox, Hyrox Pro, Adaptive and charity), doubles (women, men, mixed, plus Pro and charity variants) and relay (women, men, mixed). Doubles and relay are priced per person. For the 2026/27 German races, doubles have been listed at roughly €89–119 per person and relay at roughly €79–99 per person. Prices rise across sale waves, so the same category costs more in the last weeks than at the on-sale.
The extras that are easy to miss, all offered on the official event pages:
- The flex add-on — a paid option, in the region of €25–35, that buys you one rebooking. For a race you are entering many months out, that is the one extra worth thinking about rather than clicking past.
- The Sportograf photo package, bought in advance or afterwards.
- Skip the queues and charity entries, both sold alongside the standard ticket.
And the ones that are not on the ticket page at all: travel, and a Berlin hotel over an event window that ran ten days in 2026. If Berlin returns at that scale, accommodation is the larger of the two costs for most people travelling in.
Treat every figure above as the current order of magnitude for comparable German races, not as a Berlin 2027 price. Hyrox has moved prices between seasons.
You can train for Berlin before Berlin has a date
A Hyrox block is running, compromised running, the sled and the eight stations — built around the days you can actually train. Set a target date now and move it when the calendar catches up.
Getting there and where to stay
Assuming Tempelhof, the venue's own access information is short and unambiguous:
- U-Bahn: line U6 to Platz der Luftbrücke. From that station it is about a five-minute walk to the terminal entrance.
- Bus: lines 248 and M43.
- Car: the venue describes parking as limited and explicitly recommends arriving by public transport. For a race with 08:00 start waves and tens of thousands of athletes across a weekend, take that seriously.
Tempelhof sits inside the ring, so the whole city is reachable: staying anywhere on the U6 corridor — Kreuzberg, Mitte, Tempelhof itself — puts you a direct ride from the venue with no changes. That matters more than proximity, because a wave assigned three days out can be an early one.
Book refundable, and book before the date is confirmed at your peril. This is the real tension for a 2027 Berlin: hotel prices in Berlin move sharply around large events, but you cannot sensibly book for a date that does not exist. The workable order is: sign up for the announcement, book a refundable room the week the date lands, and firm it up once your start time arrives.
When your training block needs to start
Twelve weeks is the block length most Hyrox preparations are built around — long enough to raise running volume, train the eight stations under fatigue and still taper cleanly. Race weekend minus three months is a planning date, not a rule.
Weeks 1–3
Base
Raise weekly running volume and re-learn the eight stations clean and unhurried. Nothing here is fast.
Weeks 4–7
Build
Compromised running: the station goes straight into the run. This is the block that makes race pace feel possible.
Weeks 8–10
Race specific
Full simulations, sled and wall-ball volume at race weight, transitions rehearsed rather than improvised.
Weeks 11–12
Taper
Volume drops, intensity stays. A taper spends nothing — it banks, so you arrive fresh.
Using Berlin's own history as the window rather than a promise:
| If Berlin 2027 lands in… | A 12-week block starts around… | A 16-week block starts around… |
|---|---|---|
| Late April 2027 | Early February 2027 | Early January 2027 |
| Mid-May 2027 | Late February 2027 | Late January 2027 |
| End of May 2027 | End of February 2027 | End of January 2027 |
Read that as: if Berlin runs in its usual window, your block starts in the first quarter of 2027, and a sixteen-week version starts in January. The longer build gives a gentler base phase, which is usually the better choice if you are coming from low running volume.
Less runway is not a reason to skip a race. It changes what the block prioritises: with six or eight weeks you sharpen compromised running and station efficiency instead of rebuilding an aerobic base.
What to train while the date is unknown
This is the part that is genuinely different from a race with a fixed date, and it is good news. An unannounced date removes the taper question and leaves you with the phase that most Hyrox athletes are short of anyway: base.

Until a date exists, the highest-value work is the least race-specific:
- Aerobic running volume, mostly easy, built gradually. It is the single biggest constraint on a Hyrox finish time for most first-timers, and it is also the slowest quality to build — which is exactly why it belongs in the months before a date.
- Strength across the patterns the race uses — squat, lunge, hinge, push, pull and carry — two to three times a week.
- Occasional compromised running, so running immediately after a station is not a shock on race day.
When the date lands, that base becomes a 12-week block instead of a scramble. If you want the structure in full, our free 12-week Hyrox training plan lays out the whole progression week by week, and the three-day version covers the same ground for people who cannot train more often than that.
Racing sooner matters more than waiting for Berlin, for most people. The next confirmed German race is Cologne, 8–11 April 2027; Frankfurt runs 10–13 December 2026. A race on the calendar you can enter beats a race you are guessing at.
Frequently asked questions
When is Hyrox Berlin 2027?
No date has been announced. Berlin does not appear in the published 2026/27 season calendar, which runs through to the World Championships in Hong Kong on 10–13 June 2027, and there is currently no Hyrox Berlin event page. Every previous Berlin edition ran in April or May.
Can I already buy tickets for Hyrox Berlin 2027?
No. There is no event page and no ticket sale, because the race is not on the calendar. For comparison, tickets for the current season's German races have opened roughly four to six months before race weekend.
Will Hyrox Berlin 2027 be at Tempelhof again?
Unconfirmed. Berlin has raced at Flughafen Tempelhof since 2024, and the 2026 edition used the Haupthalle at Platz der Luftbrücke 5, so it is the reasonable assumption — but Hyrox has not published a 2027 venue.
Which German Hyrox race can I enter instead?
Frankfurt on 10–13 December 2026 and Cologne on 8–11 April 2027 are both on the official calendar. Karlsruhe, Hamburg and Düsseldorf run earlier in autumn 2026. Cologne in April is the closest confirmed race to Berlin's usual window.
The bottom line
- There is no Hyrox Berlin 2027 date. Berlin is absent from the whole published 2026/27 calendar and has no event page. Any specific 2027 date you find elsewhere is not sourced from Hyrox.
- The pattern is April–May at Tempelhof, at a scale that reached roughly 29,700 athletes over ten days in 2026.
- A block starts before a ticket does. If Berlin runs in its usual window, twelve weeks means starting in the first quarter of 2027 — likely before the on-sale.
- Train base now, and enter a confirmed race if you want a date this season. Cologne on 8–11 April 2027 is the nearest German equivalent.
Start the block, not the waiting
Tell us your target race window, the days you can train and the equipment you have. Your coach builds the running, the compromised running, the sled and the eight stations in the right proportion — and re-times the block when Berlin finally gets a date.
