Hyrox Events 2027 — and the Last 2026 Races
The Hyrox races confirmed for 2027 in Germany, Austria and Switzerland, when your 12-week block needs to start — and when the remaining dates get announced.

HYROX pairs eight kilometres of running with eight functional workout stations. Here are the races still ahead across Germany, Austria and Switzerland — and, for each one, the week your training block would need to start.
Last checked 3 October 2026. Dates and ticket status verified against the official HYROX race finder and the individual event pages. The 2026/27 season closes with the PUMA HYROX World Championships in Hong Kong on 10–13 June 2027, so any autumn 2027 DACH race would belong to the following season and is not on the calendar yet.
HYROX races still to come in 2026
Tap a race and you will see how many weeks you have left, and what a block that length can still do.
All five are open for registration at the time of this review, though popular divisions sell out well before race week.
Four DACH races are already behind us this year: HYROX St. Gallen (16–18 January), HYROX Vienna (6–8 February), HYROX Cologne (16–19 April, alongside FIBO) and HYROX Berlin (22–31 May). Vienna and Cologne are back on the calendar for 2027 — see below. Berlin and St. Gallen are not, at least not yet.
How to read the start-by date
Twelve weeks is the block length most HYROX preparation is built around — long enough to raise running volume, train the eight stations under fatigue and still taper properly. So the date shown is simply race weekend minus twelve weeks, counted from the first day of the race window: a planning date, not a rule.
Weeks 1–3
Base
Raise weekly running volume and re-learn the eight stations clean and unhurried. Nothing here is fast.
Weeks 4–7
Build
Compromised running: the station goes straight into the run. This is the block that makes race pace feel possible.
Weeks 8–10
Race specific
Full simulations, sled and wall-ball volume at race weight, transitions rehearsed rather than improvised.
Weeks 11–12
Taper
Volume drops, intensity stays. You arrive fresh — a taper spends nothing, it banks.
Tap a race and the list counts from today — how many weeks you have left, and what a block that length can realistically do.
Less runway is not a reason to skip a race. It changes what the block can prioritise: with six or eight weeks you sharpen compromised running and station efficiency rather than rebuilding your aerobic base. What you should avoid is signing up for a date and only working out the plan in the last fortnight.

Running, compromised running, the sled and the eight stations — the HYROX plan is built backwards from your race weekend, around the days you can actually train.

Tickets for Basel are already on sale. Vienna and Cologne both show "ticket sales start soon" on their event pages — so if either is your city, the date is fixed but the entry is not yet, and your start-by date lands well before you can register. Plan the block anyway; the sign-up follows.
Basel is the interesting one: HYROX's event page calls it "inaugural", but the city already hosted the opening race of the 2022/23 season on 10 September 2022 at the same venue — so 2027 is a return after four and a half years, not a first edition. The Basel race-day guide has the detail, along with the schedule and course items that are still TBA.
These three are the only DACH dates in the published 2026/27 season calendar, and no further ones have been added since this article first went up. Karlsruhe races in October 2026, which puts its next edition in the 2027/28 season; that calendar has not been published at all yet.
Berlin and St. Gallen are the two cities people keep asking about, and they are not the same case. Berlin raced 22–31 May 2026 and has no 2027 date, no event page and no ticket sale — but its usual April–May window is still ahead, so a late addition to this season is not ruled out; the Hyrox Berlin 2027 guide has the evidence, the Tempelhof pattern and what to train while the date is missing. St. Gallen raced 16–18 January 2026, and this season's calendar has already passed that window without it, which makes the 2027/28 season the realistic next one; the St. Gallen 2027 guide covers that and the Swiss race you can enter instead.
HYROX divisions, briefly explained
- Open: Individual start with the regular weights.
- Pro: Individual start with heavier weights, for experienced athletes.
- Doubles: Two people run together and split the workout stations between them.
- Relay: Four people form a team. Each person takes two running kilometres and two workout stations.
For Doubles and Relay, most events offer women's, men's and mixed categories.
If you are weighing Open against Pro, the Pro division time benchmarks show what the heavier weights actually cost in finish time.
Which race should you pick?
If it's your first HYROX, start in Open — the format is the same everywhere, so your time stays comparable to every other race on the planet. Then pick the city whose start-by date you can still meet. Doubles is the friendliest way in with a training partner, and Relay is the lowest-pressure team entry.
Frequently asked questions
When are the HYROX races in 2027?
Three DACH dates are confirmed for 2027 so far: Basel on 12–14 February, Vienna on 19–21 February and Cologne on 8–11 April. The other cities of the 2026/27 season race in late 2026 — Karlsruhe, Geneva, Hamburg, Düsseldorf and Frankfurt between October and December. The 2027/28 season calendar has not been published yet.
Is there a HYROX in Switzerland in 2027?
Yes: HYROX Basel runs on 12–14 February 2027 at Messe Basel, and tickets are already on sale. If you don't want to wait until February, HYROX Geneva races on 9–11 October 2026. St. Gallen has no 2027 date — its realistic next edition is in the 2027/28 season.
Turn a date into a plan
Picking the race is the easy part. The hard part is arriving ready — even-paced running, compromised running straight off a station, the sled and the eight movements trained under fatigue, then a taper into race weekend.
Build the block around your race date
Tell GetMyCoach your HYROX goal, your race date, your training days and the equipment you actually have. Your coach builds the plan around the real demands and counts it back to the exact day you're racing — whether that's Frankfurt in December or Basel next February.
