A straight-leg core flexion performed hanging from a pull-up bar. From a dead hang with the shoulders packed, the legs are raised until they are at least parallel to the floor, then the pelvis is curled up toward the rib cage to finish the rep with the abs rather than the hip flexors, before lowering under control. The long straight-leg lever makes this the harder progression of the hanging knee raise: it trains the rectus abdominis through a long range and taxes grip and shoulder stability at the same time.
