The Incline Dumbbell Press targets the upper chest and anterior deltoids. Lie on an incline bench, holding a dumbbell in each hand with palms facing each other or slightly pronated. Press the dumbbells upwards in an arc, bringing them together over your upper chest without touching, then control the descent back to the starting position. Focus on a strong contraction at the top and a controlled stretch at the bottom.
Skip or adapt this movement if any of these apply — and check with a professional when in doubt.
