The Sled Push is a highly effective exercise for developing lower body strength, power, and conditioning. To set up, load a sled with appropriate weight, grip the handles firmly, and lean into the sled with a low, athletic stance. Drive through your legs, taking powerful, short strides to propel the sled forward, maintaining a consistent lean and braced core throughout the movement. This exercise is excellent for improving acceleration, leg drive, and overall work capacity.
Skip or adapt this movement if any of these apply — and check with a professional when in doubt.
